Pumpkin Carving

Both Toddler A & G were so excited to carve our pumpkins this evening.  When they got up from their naps I brought in the pumpkins from the yard.  When husband finally arrived home they were bursting with excitement.  Both tots wanted happy faces despite husband's suggestions to carve a scary pumpkin. "No...Smile! Smile!" 

Neither A or G enjoyed the actual lighting of the Jack-O-Lantern, tears and all.  I hope they get over that fast.....like by tomorrow night or trick-or- treating won't be so fun.  After the candles were finally blow out Toddler G wanted to keep "cleaning out the pumpkin".  He didn't want to stop "helping daddy" but was finally lured away from the carving table by promises of Frosty the Snowman.
