We ate dinner tonight at Nick's Pizza. Nick's is becoming a weekly outing for us as they offer a gluten free pizza. In a side-by-side taste test you can't tell the difference bewteen the regular pizza and the gluten free pizza. The restaurant is super kid friendly with baskets of peanuts on the table and shells on the floor. The kids love love love throwing the shells on the floor. Husband and I love sitting next to one another. We were seating at a perfect little table last week and reqested the same one tonight. Table 8. It is perfect for us....next to the fireplace plus husband and I sit get to sit next to one another (yeah).... in a booth..... and the kids sit across from us in highchairs. Perfect. I love sitting next to husband.
Nick's is filled with stuffed deer and a muskox and the like....sort of weird but the kids really like it. We always go check out the muskox which is in a side room. Plus.....they have old soda pop machines and a neat old fashioned phone booth.......generally, the kids and I go exploring while husband pays the bill. We love Nick's.
