Now on to our weekend in pictures.....
G woke up too early on Saturday morning so we transfered him to our bed. When he just couldn't bear "resting" any longer I left him with a sleeping daddy and my iphone to browse our pictures while I started coffee.

The beginnings of potato leek soup.
On Sunday afternoon husband took G out for new shoes while A and I stayed behind....remember I didn't get out of my pajamas. I was trying to get dinner going and A was demanding that she be read to. Our solution.....seat the child on counter.....she holds book (like a teacher) so that I can see the words and I read to her while I am also cooking. Since starting school A has taken to reading books like a teacher.....she'll hold the book against her body with the pages facing out and retell the stories in her own words. I love it.
And finally.....G's new Jordans......like cousin C's.
Looks like a fun weekend, I love potato leek soup! Also, this is going to sound a wee bit crazy but where did you find the polka dot pillowcase? I've looked for something similar but have had no luck!
