Watercolors

Oil pastels and watercolors are the best combination ever.  I drew the black lines with an oil pastel and the letters with a pencil.  A traced the letters with a variety of colors and then moved onto the watercolors.  Painting with watercolors is the best art activity ever. Very Zen.  Very quiet.  Very focused.  Very little messy.  The kids are finally taking care to not mix the colors by cleaning their brush often.  And G is pushing lighter on his brush than he used too.

G wanted to paint hearts rather than letters.  He also painted his name similar to how A did the alphabet.

Final products are amazing and the process was lovely.
