Pool Party

We swam and ate and played with husbands family this weekend.  So much fun.  Thanks Aunt L and Uncle D for hosting the best party of the summer.

The past few years (at Christmas) I have made a family photo calendar for the grandparents.  This past Christmas I had one printed for all the families.  Now, everytime that I take a picutre that one on the left asks, "Is this going to be in the calendar?"

We brought two pinatas to share with everyone.  One for the littler kids and one for the bigger kids.  G picked out the ice cream cone that the littles crushed.  We started with the blindfold and that proved to be pretty challenging for the littles.  So off it came. 

Cousin E smashed the ice cream cone good!  Way to go batter.  And what a great photo of the candy flying. 

Little Ms. A loves loves unicorns.  She picked this one and I let her have the first swing at it since she picked it out.    I wish I could say she suprised us and sent the candy flying with one blow but she didn't.  The big kids so needed the blind fold. 

We brought the unicorn head home and a body was made for her out of tinker toys. 

 The icecream found it's way onto a few heads. 

It was super fun to see everyone and to meet Uncle D's family.  Thank you, Thank you Aunt L and Uncle D for a super great party.
