I contacted "Soup Traveler" and asked permission to share her image here.....she agreeded. She writes about her picture : "Thirty years of journals and 27 years worth of passports, discounting the one i lost on zanzibar. It's replacement is sitting on top. These are probably some of the things I treasure most."
Such a treasure. I wish I had 27 years of journals. I have maybe 10 years.....and my journals are less of jounals and more of scrapbooks.....not facncy scrapbooks but more like the traditional scrapbook. I filled my journals with pictures torn from magazines that I liked, quotes and that sort of thing. As I get older and am beginning to keep more of a traditional journal....which I am really enjoying. So Soup Traveler's image prompted me to collect some of my old journals and take their picture.
And......a cool picture of a modified book (in progress).
Pretty....don't you think?
