We went into the city yesterday to play at the Renegade craft fair. I did some shopping while husband and the kids did some exploring.....fire hydrants, port-a-potties, alleys, mail slots.....were all explored. Lunch and then a rocking band. Self described as an astounding circus punk marching band. Yup. Circus Punk. They were awesome. Families and Wicker Park Hipsters alike enjoyed this super cool band. Think Edward Sharp, if they were a marching band verese the band of hippies they are. Hey.....west coast friends and family: they are going to be in California in the coming weeks.....San Fransciso, San Jose, L.A.....it's fun. Go check them out.
Oh....and I got a super cute dress. And some earings. I could have spent thousands. Such great things availabe from super cool artists.
