Physical Therapy

G has been working with a private physical therapist twice a week.  Ms. L (the therapist) is great.  G has made a signification progress in the last 5 weeks with Ms. L.   He still works with his PT at school.....they just work on school stuff.....like walking up and down the stairs and pushing in his chair.....you know the stuff you (we) do all day long every day.  Don't get me wrong, I am appreciative of our school PT.....it's just that stretching and gait training is significantly more important and they don't do that kind of stuff at school.  Ms. L takes care of that stuff and she makes it super fun. Really......in a very short time, Ms. L has helped G make some huge gains.  He walks with a very reciprocal patter with and without his braces on.  Huge.  HUGE!

Our sessions with Ms. L start at 5:00.  A will accompany us for the beginning of the session.  One of Ms. L's new tasks was to have G stand with one foot on a stool while the other foot was on the floor and reach to draw on a mirror with dry eraser marker.  Fun.  He didn't even realize he was "working"/"stretching".  And....look at all that blond hair.  Those two children could belong to her.  I still can't quite figure out how we ended up with two blonds.
Using "therapy" putty while Ms. L got another great strech on a puffy triangle shaped thing.
See the stretch.  Both feet are super flat.  Hello hamstring.

Husband shows up about 15 minutes into the session.....it's on his way home.  He wil either stay with G and A and I will take off or just the opposite.
A bigger stretch and the blue triangle thing.  This was super hard for G.

This week husband and A took off to get dinner started.  G and I kept working with Ms. L.

Can you tell how much G enjoys Ms. L?

I was thinking G needed a hair cut and then I say this picture and realized how perfect his cute hair is right now.  The perfect length.
Awwwwwww.

The giant ball dwarfs the boy.

Thansk Ms. L.
