Ahhhh. Thanksgiving. Yum! We had a small Thanksgiving celebration this year......our little family plus Nana and Pops and their dog. Nana and husband did the cooking minus the mean cranberries I contributed. We started our Thanksgiving morning with a hike at Raceway Woods.......we wanted to share our secret tunnel with Nana and Pops but the tunnel was blocked with mounds and mounds of dirt....we're guessing the dirt was supposed to make it difficult for the cool kids to party in the tunnel at night.....however, it only made it difficult for us to reach the tunnel....I am sure the kids are not stopped by the bolders of dirt......only us, regardless it was nice to be out in the brisk November weather and Nana was able to get the sticks she was looking for. Bonus! We had (another) small birthday party for the 4 year olds with both sets of grandparents, however, no iimages of this event. Yummy cake though. We had wanted to attend our local festival of lights parade on Friday night but the weather got the best of us, instead we had a candle light hot chocolate party. Did you know Husband doesn't like marshmellows in his hot chocolate. What? Yup. No marshmellows. Nana and Pops left on Saturday morning after taking me out for a gluten filled breakfast. Thanks Nana and Pops!
