Christmas with Nana and Pops

We celebrated Christmas with Nana and Pops earlier this week.  Nana and husband made steaks and we shared a yummy meal together.  A insisted on wearing her birthday crown that she's had displayed in her room since her birtdhay.  Love that.  Dinner was followed by presents.  Nana and Pops did an excellent job shopping this year.....very thoughtful gift giving.  A recieved a cute kitty print for her room and the book The Three Little Kittens.  G recieved a fun frog print for his room and an interesting non-fiction book about frogs.  Perfect right?  Frog art.  Kitty art.  Just perfect.  Nana also made the kids a neat tent that fits right over our dinning room table and the kids recieved head lights........actual lights that they can wear on their heads to use in their new tent......or whenever.  Hugh hit! Thank you so very much Nana and Pops for all the lovely gifts both mentioned and not mention.  Really, so thoughtful and generous.  We are super lucky to hvae you and your kind and thoughtful hearts in our lives.  Merry Christmas.

And.....A and I recieved matching cupcake aprons.  Cute.

Oh....and Pops gifted this recordable version of The Night Before Christmas.
He recorded himself reading the text and added his own little special touches like......."not a creature was stirring....not Murphy or even a mouse".  The kids love it and how perfect is this picture.
