Data

Every once in a while we get out some of our old computer equiptment.....keyboards, wires, modems, old phones with cords....both A and G love to play with this special equiptment.  Last night they set up their office using large coffee tableish art books (actually comic books....the Gary Larson Far Side Complete Collections)  to digress for a minute......I vividly remember (during my college years) arrive home to husband (who was boyfriend at that time) and my roommate K sitting on the couch with a stack of Far Side books and laughing so hard they were crying.  The books were borrowed from the local library, roommate and husand made a trip to the library for the sole purpose of borrowing Gary Larson books, I believe they took the bus there.   Ahhhhh, what times we had.  And really, think about the actual time we must have had to make this an afternoon outing.  O.K....back to the data....children used the Gary Larson books as their monitors and set the keyboards up in front of the books.....the "computers" were then plugged into the couch and the chair.....of course they needed power.  The phone came out and the kids talked to frogs, Nana, Daddy and snowmen "on speaker".  At one point I ran upstairs to grab something and I looked down at the kids and A had the phone stretched over to the treee.  I asked what she was doing......"The tree is talking to the frogs."  Yup.

And just to share a bit more.......I just developed a bunch of December photos. Just a few.
