Painting

I am home today. 

No school in honor of our Veterans. 

We have enjoyed a quiet and fun morning filled with painting and PT.

Four fun short stories:

#1.  Before breakfast I showed the toddlers the frost covered lawn.

       Toddler A:  Let's go make a snowman out there.

#2.  Toddler A shared her grapes with me this morning at breakfast.

        Mommy:  Mmmmmmm. This is juicy.

        Toddler A:  That's not juicy.

        Mommy:  Sure it is. 

        Toddler A:  No it's not.  It's water in there.

#3.   Our coffee pot recently broke.  We had an extra one packed away in the basement.  Husband found it and brought it up for use.  The following is a conversation with G this morning.

       Toddler G:  Daddy brought that (points to coffee pot) up from the basement for you.

       Mommy:  He did that for me?

       Toddler G:  Ya!  You need it, right?

#4   I sat next to Toddler G at breakfast and because he is too cute I leaned over and kissed him twelve times on his soft cheek.

        Toddler A:  Kiss me mommy.  KISS ME!
