Road Trip :: Day One

We (my mom (Nana) plus the kids and I) set out on Sunday on our 1st annual summer road trip.  Destination: St. Louis.  The pefect distance in a car for a couple of three year olds...in hindsight it would have been nice to have a shorter drive home but I'm not sure how we could have made that work.  Up first......the drive.  Nana about had herself a heart attack watching me take pictures while I was driving.  Please know that most of the images from the actual drive were taken when I wasn't driving. Only one Buzz Lightyear was damaged on the drive in.  We had a great view of the arch from our room.  Upon arrival at the hotel the kids climbed right into bed with a tired Nana and asked for books.  After settleing ourselves in our room we grabbed some dinner and explored the hotel a bit.  The elevators were a big hit (as they always are).
