Road Trip :: Day Two

Day two started with breakfast in bed and Seasame Street.  Breakfast is the hardest meal (I believe) to do gluten free.  So we brought GF breakfast foods to share rather than try and eat out for this first meal of the day.  We explored the grounds of the Arch and the Gateway to the West Museum.  We also road the tram to the top of the arch.  The number of stairs we all walked........the number of stairs G walked was remarkable.  There were at least 40 stairs that he descended to board the tram.  Upon arriving at the arch he climbed 20 more stairs to reach the lookout.  The same number of stairs were walked to reach land again after we had our fill at the top of the arch.  I'm proud.  The kids were treated to souvenirs after the trip to the top.  We then stopped for our afternoon caffeine (adults) and chocolate milk (children) and to cool off.  Man....St. Louis was hot and humid....I said HUMID.  We headed back to the hotel and took a swim.   Dinner followed and then some twirling and table crawling took place in the lobby.
