We have spent the last four days in our pajamas, eating takeout, napping, baking cookies, making tents out of bed sheets, blogging, reading (a variety of mediums) and watching movies. Oh, to have four more days of this. Husband and I rented and loved Juno, Little Ms. Sunshine and 500 Days of Summer. I really hope that daugher A grows into a happy, confident, creative and perhaps a bit unusual woman, not unlike the characters in the mentioned movies. Really, if A grows into a quirky, funny, confident teenager similar to "Juno" (minus the unwanted pregnancy) I would be very proud. What do we need to do, as parents, to promote "Juno" development in our little girl?
And really....Zooey Deschanel is too perfect. Loved this movie......the super cute dresses she wore, the music, the non-linear sequence, even the bluebird scene. I loved it.
And....Little Ms. Sunshine.....I can't get enought of Olive's wacky and loving family. Seven year old Olive is my kind of beauty queen. The VW bus...plus...the music...plus...Olive's glasses...Greg Kinnear's dad character....really all of the characters (seperately and together) equal : Awsome.
I love movies.
